Intended Parents

Intended Parents considering surrogacy should be well-informed and prepared for the journey ahead. 

Aloha Island Family Surrogacy provides the following services to Intended Parents:

  • Surrogate Screening and Matching: Agency conducts a thorough screening process to indentify potential Gestational Carriers who meet the necessary medical, psychological, and legal requirements. You will be matched with suitable Gestational Carriers based on preferences, compatibility, and shared values.
  • Surrogacy Recruitment: Actively recruiting and advertising to attract potential Gestational Carriers who are interested in helping others create their families.
  • Legal Support: Surrogacy involves complex legal matters. Referrals for attorney’s specializing in the field of reproductive law will be given.
  • Medical and Psychological Screening: Our agency will coordinate comprehensive medical and psychological evaluations for Gestational Carriers to ensure they are physically and mentally fit to undergo the surrogacy process. These evaluations include medical history reviews, physical examinations, and psychological assessments made by licensed medical professionals.
  • Matching and Introductions: Based on your preferences and criteria provided by you, we will facilitate the matching process between you the Intended Parents and Gestational Carrier. This will be arranged in person (if possible) or by video Zoom calls to allow both parties to get to know each other and establish a connection.
  • Surrogacy Case Management: Throughout the surrogacy journey, Aloha Island Family Surrogacy serves as a liaison between Intended Parents, Gestational Carriers, and medical professionals. Our agency offers guidance and support for both parties, ensuring effective communication, scheduling medical appointments, and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise during the surrogacy journey
  • Financial and Insurance Guidance: We provide guidance on financial aspects, such as managing escrow accounts for the Intended Parents to cover surrogacy-related expenses. We also will help to navigate insurance matters, ensuring the Gestational Carrier and Intended Parents have appropriate coverage.
  • Counseling and Support: Surrogacy can be an emotionally challenging process for ALL parties involved. We offer counseling services with licensed therapists who specialize in the reproductive and surrogacy field.
  • Coordination of Medical Procedures: Aloha Island Family Surrogacy helps to coordinate medical procedures with your fertility clinic and Gestational Carrier, We work closely with fertility clinics and medical professionals to ensure a smooth process.
  • Post Birth Support: After the birth of the child, we offer post-birth support through guidance and referrals to relevant professionals as needed.

Gestational Carrier RE-MATCHING Fee: Please inquire within for fee cost.

Gestational Carrier Matching and Surrogacy Journey Coordination (INTERNATIONAL): Please inquire within for Agency Fee costs.

Gestational Carrier Journey Surrogacy Coordination ONLY (This means NO Gestational Carrier Matching): Please inquire within for fee cost.

We do NOT require an upfront deposit or payment. Once you are officially matched with a Gestational Carrier, only then will you start agency fee payments.

Agency fees are paid in monthly installments.

Gestational Carrier Pregnancy Compensation Fees:

Gestational Carrier Pre-Birth Support Pregnancy Compensation (First Time): starts at $40,000.00 and up

Experienced Gestational Carrier (must have successfully completed a surrogacy pregnancy) Pre-Birth Support Pregnancy Compensation: Fee varies

Medical Insurance and Policy Cost Fees:

Medical Insurance Coverage for Gestational Carrier: Fee varies on insurance policy chosen.

Accidental Death Insurance Policy for Gestational Carrier

Loss of Reproductive Organs Policy for Gestational Carrier

Permanent Total Disability Policy for Gestational Carrier

Fertility Clinic Fees for Gestational Carrier:

Please inquire directly with your fertility clinic on exact costs. Fees are paid directly to your fertility clinic for your Gestational Carrier’s services.

Egg Donor Agency (if one is needed):

Please inquire directly with your egg donor agency on exact costs. Fees are paid directly to your egg donor agency.

Additional Fees:

Attorney Fees (to draft, review and negotiate Gestational Carrier Agreement between Intended Parent and Gestational Carrier):  Fee varies.

Attorney Fee (for Gestational Carrier review and negotiate):  Fee varies.

Attorney Fee (for Post-Birth Process or Pre-Birth Process):  Fee varies.

Escrow Account Management Fees: Fee varies on depending on escrow management company used.

AIFS does NOT hold or manage any funds for escrow as this is a conflict of interest. The escrow company will manage all disbursements of funds to your Gestational Carrier.

Psychological evaluation sessions (for Gestational Carrier thorough out the surrogacy journey):  Fee varies.

These estimates above do not include every expense associated with your surrogacy journey. The actual cost can vary depending on compensation, travel expenses (if your carrier resides on the outer islands or in another state), medical costs and other expenses.
